The Sky Ruins

An ancient civilization no modern scholar knew existed built cities on floating islands — islands that still float, just without the civilization. The party locates the first intact sky ruin and discovers the islands are connected by a network of migratory flight paths. They are moving toward a specific destination. Following the ancient flight plan leads somewhere the civilization clearly intended to go — and may have already gone.
