Underneath the city's sewers is another city — older, unmapped, inhabited by descendants of people who fled the surface three generations ago for reasons they only remember as myth. The party discovers the underground city when they fall through a rotting floor. Whatever the original refugees were hiding from is operating in the city above — and it has been looking for them for seventy years.
