The Flooded Levels

The upper third of the megadungeon flooded fifty years ago when a party accidentally breached an underground aquifer. The party has been hired to clear the flooded upper levels so the city above can reclaim the real estate. The problem: the aquifer brought something with it, and in fifty years of isolation, the flooded levels have developed their own ecosystem, their own culture, and their own opinions about being cleared.
